Utility Deposit


Deposit Provisions

The city reserves the right, after written notice to any customer, to require a deposit, or require an increase in the existing deposit if experience with the customer reasonably shows that such a deposit or increase is reasonably necessary to ensure prompt payment of utility bills, such deposit shall be made by the customer within 30 days from the city's written notice of required deposit.

If a security deposit remains with the city upon termination of service to a customer, the city shall refund such deposit to the customer if utility bills have been paid and the city has no further claim against the customer for damage.
