President IMTA Message

I encourage each of you to take full advantage of your IMTA membership by getting involved.  Consider organizing a Regional Meeting to gain knowledge on subjects of particular interest to you.  Through a Regional session, you can offer a learning opportunity to fellow members in your area that may not be able to travel overnight. Your Board has three Regional Committee Chairs to help guide you through the process.  Regional Meetings are good ways to spread the benefits of membership in the IMTA.  Of course, you can use the meeting as a way to recruit new members to the organization.

And, again, I encourage you to take a few minutes to contact your neighbors who are not members of the IMTA.  Tell them how you have benefited and offer them the opportunity to join us.  Make them aware of the many fine educational and networking opportunities that we offer.  Get out the word!  Call a neighboring Treasurer or Finance Director and introduce them to IMTA.   Or, call or e-mail me or any of your Directors; and, we’ll make the invitation.

I will continue our efforts to make IMTA an asset to you and the entire membership.  HAVE A GREAT FISCAL YEAR 2010/11!

Respectfully,
Ron Vander Band
President 2010/2012
